*Clinic Update April 2021: Move to virtual care

With the four week Ontario province-wide shutdown that was declared for April 3rd, and the Stay at Home order declared for April 8th, 2021, I've made the decision to move all of my appointments to telephone or video tele-health for the foreseeable future. This is to ensure that until most of our population is immunized against COVID-19, we all do our part to keep these new Variants of Concern (such as B117) from spreading.

Fortunately, all of the extended health plans I work with have extended their coverage to these virtual platforms, so I can continue to bill many of my patients for their tele-health visits the same as before.

For patients without benefits (including seniors and people who have lost their employment), I do have sliding scale rates available. I don't want to let the disruptions of the pandemic disrupt my patients' health, so please reach out if you would like to continue care but find yourself unable to do so.

With my new schedule doing regular workshops on healthcare communication for the SE Ontario Self-Management program (this is new as of March 2021), I've adjusted my days slightly to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and (most) Fridays. For current patients with internet access through the JANE app portal, you can book online (online now defaults to virtual appointments), send me an email, or call my home office line at (613) 767-0767.

For same day or urgent appointments, you will need to call to book, also at (613) 767-0767. I do have some limited times available on non-clinic days, so please don't hesitate to ask.
